Gun Shells

January, 2, 2012
I got talked into waking up at a decent hour to go and shoot some guns this morning. So, after drinking the biggest cup of coffee and layering up like the biggest hipster you ever saw, I was ready.
The nice thing about living in Tooele is that if you drive 10 miles from where ever you are currently at, you'll soon me in the middle of no where. And it's nice. The quiet is nice sometimes.

I think a lot when I shoot. Every picture reminds me of a person, even if they aren't close to me at all. Which always leads me to think about other peoples perspectives. Stupid, really.

Whenever I see beautiful things though, I always wish I had someone right next to me. So I could be annoying, show them, then discuss the subject further. It's probably why I don't like being alone a lot of the time. I have no one to share my thoughts with, no one else to see what I am seeing.

So, after taking pictures in the quiet, being disturbed by random spurts of gunfire, And almost freezing my index finger off- we were done.
I shot my first hand gun, and rifle. I aimed, with the intent of actually hitting the target, and failed. And I learned that I will never, ever, leave to the middle of no where without more coffee.
